Ramsgate Royal Harbour Permanent Berths

• Vessel lengths – fractions of a metre of 0.5 and above are rounded up (including davit and bowsprit)
• Minimum charge length – 6 metres
• Multi hulled vessels – 50% surcharge if using finger moorings only
• Interest – The Council reserves the right to charge interest at 2% above Natwest PLC base rate from the date of billing on any invoices outstanding over 30 days
• Tenders/dinghies – maximum length three metres – no charge to permanent boat owners, otherwise fees and charges apply
• Electricity – subject to change due to market conditions
• For permanent berths – a signed and approved application and insurance is required
• Additional visitor rates will be applied to inner marina berth holders staying in the outer marina for more than 2 tides unless prevented from moving by severe weather

Inner Marina Fees

Annual (April – March) – per metre – £368.36

• 2% discount if paid in full before 1st May
• 5% discount for vessels over 20 metres if paid in full before 1st May
• Summer/winter rate will be applied if less than 12 months licence held

Summer (April to September) – per metre – £290.82

• Includes car parking
• Minimum stay 4 months, or visitor rates apply

Winter (October – March) – per metre – £165.44

• Including car parking
• Minimum stay 4 months, or visitor rates apply

Western Outer Marina

Annual (April to March) – per metre – £404.72

• Minimum stay 9 months, or visitor rates apply
• 2% discount if paid in full before 1st May
• For permanent berths in the outer marina summer and winter rates do not apply

Jet Ski Berth – £1425.60

• Per annum, pro rata’d from arrival date with a minimum 4 months licence

Electricity

• Non metered supply (one lead only) non refundable

Per week – £52.92

Refundable deposit – (VAT exempt) – £100.00

Annual standing charge (per connection/socket) – £190.00

Ramsgate Small Boat Owners

Outer Marina – £92.40

• Boats up to eight metres – per month or part thereof minimum stay three months

Administration charge – £36.00

• Additional fee to change billing method at request of customer

Insurance reminder – £36.00

• Charge for second and subsequent written request to see permanent berth holder’s third party insurance

Commercial fishing boats – £5.24

• Resident at least 6 months Operational or non-operational
• Vessels of 6 metres in length and over – Per metre of length overall per week or part thereof plus 10% fishing landing dues
• Vessels under 6 metres – per metre length overall per week or part thereof – no fishing landing dues

Tourist/Angling boats – £262.72

• Licenced to ply for Hire on receipt of RAMS and insurance
• Per metre of overall length per annum – (at least 6 month resident)

Containers on pontoons – £9.64

• Charge for containers left on pontoons – per container per day
