Permit 1: This will be for the berth holder only, at the annual rate, and will facilitate parking within the marina area and Royal Harbour multi storey.
Permit 2: This is for a second berth holder / crew member, at the annual rate, and will facilitate the same parking zones as the first permit.
Permits 3-5: For additional and up to the total of allowance, the annual fee is as per the published fees and charges: This will enable parking at Royal Harbour multi storey only. Parking within the marina area will be prohibited, failure to comply may result in a Penalty Charge Notice being issued.
No, the new system will know that your vehicle has a valid permit. The Civil Enforcement Officers will scan your vehicle registration which will show them whether there is a valid permit.
You can transfer the permit to your new vehicle. To do so you will need to log in to your online account and change the vehicle registration. Once this is approved you will be sent a payment request for the £5 administration fee.
The Harbour Office staff will no longer accept paper applications. You can only apply and pay online through the Thanet Council website.
Only car park season discs will be valid straight away. Any other permit will need to be approved. You should receive notification of this approval within two working days.
You can cancel this on your account and we will process the cancellation.
